The Cambodian project departments of the China National Machinery Group China Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. (here in after referred to as " China Heavy Machinery ") earnestly implement the company's various deployments. They also promote the prevention and control of epidemic situation and construction of overseas projects, strive to achieve the project's goals and win the "two battles" of epidemic prevention and control and project implementation. After a month's hard work, the Lower Kratie-Mondokiri section of the 230kV transmission and substation project of the Eastern Ring Network of Cambodia (here in after referred to as the Eastern Ring Phase I project), which was constructed by China Heavy Machinery, has successfully passed the acceptance by the owner and is ready for operation with electricity.

With the rapid economic and social development of Cambodia in recent years, the demand for power energy is growing. The East Ring Phase I project undertakes the task of power transmission for the four northeastern provinces of Cambodia . The completion of the line will greatly alleviate the local electricity tension and further meet the demand for production and living electricity of local residents.

The Kratie-Mondokiri section is 133 kilometres long and uses a double-return, double-ground line with the same tower, passing through mountains and forests, with complex geology and difficult transport. Since the start of the project in 2018, with the strong support of the owner, the project departments overcame the difficulties of field construction during the rainy season, slow land acquisition, epidemic impact and other adverse factors, they plan ahead of time, organize carefully, carry out scientific construction, and strictly control the safety and quality of the project. With the joint efforts of all parties involved in the construction, they successfully completed the construction task six months ahead of schedule after 18 months of intense and orderly construction. The project owner was positive about the overall quality of the work.
